Allied Health Professions
The PEI Health Recruitment and Retention Secretariat offers sponsorships to students in radiation therapy and ultrasonography. These sponsorship programs are re-assessed on an annual basis. As well, three eligible Prince Edward Island residents are guaranteed access to the Medical Laboratory Technology two and one-half year program offered at New Brunswick Community College in Saint John, New Brunswick. Students are required to work on PEI for two years following graduation.
